David Lloyd Club Hatfield

David Lloyd Club Hatfield had ongoing leaks throughout their building which stands on the old Hatfield Aerodrome. Leaking Northlight glazing and south facing slopes needed a watertight lightweight design system. We overlaid the existing south facing slopes using a high performance Polyester based mineral faced cap sheet with elastomeric properties to allow for thermal movement of the aluminium structural deck. On the north light glazing we overlaid using a new lightweight GRP overlay system running into a new cut to fall timber gulley overlaid as part of the weatherproof membrane works.
